I can run RetroArch smoothly on my Raspberry Pi (thanks RetroPie fellows!), on my Android, on my Linux x86 box, and I have friends running it on their Windows and Nintendo Wii (just to name a few platforms it can run). Then I am immensely grateful to the guys who made/maintain RetroArch and made it available for free. But unfortunately I don't have enough knowledge to develop my own frontend. Go to hotkeys and set 'menu (toggle)' to right stick click button. Is there any way to reset all the hotkey back to the default If no, please at least tell me whats the default key for 'next overlay'. I would make a frontend with a focus on User Experience, exposing only the options that matter, taking advantage of all the numerous studies made on User Interface subject. Theres however one hotkey that is good to set in retroarch itself. (On a PS4 controller I like to set this as the PS button). If you don’t have a core loaded, you can go to the Settings menu -> Input -> Input Hotkey Binds to set quick buttons for things like Save State, Rewind and, crucially Menu toggle, which takes you to the Retroarch menu. They can be loaded via Quick Menu -> Shaders -> Load Shader Preset and if. If I bring up the RetroArch menu with Select+Triangle, I can go to Quick Menu. As the menu labels (and their underlined hotkeys) vary with the Windows system. The official description of RetroArch says "RetroArch is the official reference frontend for the libretro API". During controller configuration, youll be asked to specify a Hotkey. RGUI is just a list of settings, all organized in hard-to-remember areas, all with blurry text, made, for free, by a bunch of guys in their spare time just for the love for retrogaming with no money involved. I agree with you both, and I would like to complement: Program name: RetroArch RetroPie allows you to turn your Raspberry Pi or PC into a retro-gaming machine.
